Summer is coming to a close and it’s fair time again. The fair was an event I looked forward to each year when I was a kid. My oldest brother would always take us to the fair to ride the rides and see the animals. Now that I’m a big kid, it has kinda lost its excitement….. it could be that our county fair is not quite on the level as the Missoula county fair, or maybe my kid eyes saw things differently…. either way, now my kids look forward to it each year.
Scott and Em wait on the carnie to get them strapped in and the ride going!
worth the wait!
Robby and his buddy are ready for a fling on the swings. Robby made the classic bad choice of eating food and then riding rides! He wanted sympathy from me but…. well I didn’t make him eat and ride so I was not very sympathetic!
Off on another ride…. I’m not exactly sure what either of them was thinking in this photo 🙂
We saw a clown.
The line-up…. then they attempted to walk! 🙂
Shantel and her friend took off running hand in hand….. see the guy in the background giving them a funny look?! 🙂
The kids couldn’t resist the tractors. They did ask a group of old farmers if they could sit on them first.
Then a visit to the animals…
Right after this photo, the bunny took a little nibble and she dropped it quick!
Scott was not too sure about petting the animals in the petting area.
We saw piggies,
cows and calves,
There was a free climbing wall and I had some takers…..
Em didn’t make it to the top the first time, but she did the second and third times!
Scott tried twice and just couldn’t force himself to the top!
It started to get dark and little legs tired so we headed for home and our beds.
