Foto Story Friday #225 Red

This weeks theme was Red.   I saw this little red and orange USA sign through the truck as we waited in line to cross the border into Canada this past weekend.  I went along with my friend on a quick trip to Ponoka, Alberta Canada to deliver a mare to her new home.  Not just any mare, Harmony, who she raised from a yearling and did all the training on.  It was kinda a sad day, but she is in the business of breeding, raising and training horses and it made good business sense to sell her.

One last ride on Harmony.

Goodbye Harmony, you will be missed, but we know you have gone to a great home with kids and you will be loved.  To say the least it was an emotional ride home.  When we weren’t discussing Harmony, we were talking about my son leaving.

  1. Those little things you notice are amazing! Love the flying tail on Harmony…and a kiss goodbye (for now) from your son, also wearing a red tie!
